Payments
Everything you need to know, explained.
1 – Flow of Payment
2- Disputes
3- Withdrawals
1- Flow of Payment – let’s use an example
Meet Harley, the Gigger
Harley offers a Bartender service since nothing can top his glorious mojitos.
Meet Grace, the Finder
Grace wants a barman for an event she’s planning at home and she decides to hire Harley.
Grace orders the bartender service for £20 plus another £15 for an extra hour of service from Harley.
Grace checks out via PayPal, after successful payment, she will be redirected to the order detail page.
Gigger clicks on “Start” button to start working the order
Time countdown begins to count down when Gigger presses “Start” button
Note: £35 – £3.5 (10% commission) = £31.50
Disputes
2- In case of Dispute (can dispute before or after order is delivered).
For some reason, Grace or Harley are not satisfied with this gig, he/she can press the “Dispute” button whether before or after the order is delivered.
The order status will be switched to DISPUTING.
In this case, we will play the role of the judge to make the final decision. Thus, we have the right to access all information related to the order, including Changelog, Messages in the direct chat box, and Attached Files (if any) to decide to either refund the Finder (£35) or send the money to the Gigger (£31.50).
Once the dispute is solved, the order status is switched to RESOLVED and the order is completed.
But come on people, let’s keep things cool 🙂
(see terms and conditions for more.)
Withdrawals
3- Withdrawals – how it works.
When a Finder orders a gig, money is directly transferred to movaGig so that we hold it until the service is complete. When a Gigger starts working the gig, the money will be converted to credit (virtual) in the system.
As you can see below, there are three columns in the Gigger’s revenue, including “Working”, “Available”, and “Pending”. The “Working” column displays the money you will earn out of all the gigs you are working on. After the job is finished, credits from the “Working” column are moved to the “Available” one. The Gigger will then have to make a withdrawal request (minimum £7) to get their money by requesting a security code which will be sent to your registered email. If you can’t find the our email then don’t forget to check under spam.
In the case of Harley, the £31.50 that were previously under “Working” have now been added to “Available” (for withdrawal), since the job is now finished and has been accepted by Grace.
After the withdrawal has been requested, the money will be shown under “Pending” until we accept the request and then send the money to the Gigger.
Currently, we ONLY support withdrawals via PAYPAL
IMPORTANT: For both Giggers and Finders, even though we only accept payments/withdrawals via PayPal, in order to pay/withdraw money, you must also add a bank account card (credit or debit) as well as your PayPal email in “Payment Method” in your profile. Otherwise, the system won’t allow you to do transactions in movaGig. We’re constantly working to improve our services so bare with us! 🙂
